Training was with Brian tonight. We are wanting to move, so looked at a rental property not 500 metres away from the track. Unfortunately the bedrooms were a bit small, so we did not put an application in

Good session tonight, and one of my favourites. We had two continuous running sets. The first was an 8 lapper, broken up into mini-sets of two. It was jog 100, steady 300, jog 50 with solid 150, then jog 100 and solid 100 to finish off. This was times four

The second set was times three for six laps. It was on this second set, I was starting to struggle through the last couple of laps. I timed the 300 metre efforts at 50, 52 and 50 seconds. Nice finish - must have known I was near the end

Drank far too much beer and ate far too much of the vets supper before running for the bus around 9:00 pm

TOTAL DISTANCE : about seven kilometres including warm up and down
