Sunday, 13 January

The children "slept in" today but finally had to get up just before 8:00 am to feed the baby. Got Kylie up at 9:30 am as we had a busy morning ahead of us

Received text from my mother to say she is in hospital with pneumonia. With my daughter having her afternoon sleep we couldn't get out to see her. Rang and let her know we would be over there tomorrow to see her

Did not get to go for a run until 4:15 pm and from the get go was having to tell myself to slow down a bit. Decided to apply the 10% rule and add this amount from my last long run, as I am trying to build up my LSD session. So 55 minutes was the goal

Out to the bike path from my house (which is only a few minutes away), then south towards the city. Went over St Georges Rd then continued on before the turnaround point had me where the bike path ends at those side streets you have to traverse before resuming your way on the bike path near that train station. Back home again and was pretty glad it was over

Lasagne for dinner tonight so made sure to have small portion. Part of the new weight loss effort is to make sure I get to bed early, have smaller portions and to eat early - like before 8:00 pm! Have certainly found that no snacks after dinner, and getting to bed before midnight is much more conducive to maintaining my weight, even when I haven't run that day

TOTAL KILOMETRES = about 12 kilometres

I'm sure those LRs should be 75=90 min for you??
