Was supposed to go for a long run today, but it was after the children had gone to bed at 7:30 pm before I could get out. Given that I had a glass of wine with my tuna pasta bake dinner that I made and had with the children, I thought I better scale back the run a bit
So went out on the Merri Creek bike path and did a tempo session. Did 15 minutes easy, 10 minutes of medium surge, then 15 minutes easy back home again. The medium paced bit I was certainly working a bit but it wasn't the hard grind that it usually feels so must have done it right for a change
TOTAL DISTANCE : about 8.5 kilometres
