Woke up VERY heavy in the legs today. Not a good sign for training tonight, although I always seem to train pretty well day after a long run. Bizarre, I know

Am running late for the train as was on phone to life member talking about the Presentation Night. Have to sprint the three blocks to the station and just make it

Get to training and we are doing yucky timed intervals - the BANE of my existence. We did four mins, 2 mins slow jog, 3 mins (bit faster), 2 mins slow jog, then finish with 2 min solid. A long break between the two and repeat

For the first set, took the 4 min real easy as instructed but was still doing around 85's. The 3 min bit I defintiely feel the lift in pace and by the 2 min, I was really moving. Annoyingly still only covered about 600 metres, so at my 5 km pace

Enjoyed the break then straight back into it. Went a bit faster on the 4 min effort this time and covered almost 3 laps. May have been a tad fast. The 3 min effort wasn't too bad with 2.5 laps, and the 2 min bit I went about the same as the first set

Worked out later that the fastest I went was about my 3000 metre pace, so not good and maybe the body is feeling fatigued

TOTAL DISTANCE = about 6 kilometres including warm down
