Knee still a bit sore today and training with Brian at the Coburg Harriers
With the Shield North West Region Final on, I was hoping for an easy night and Brian obliged.
Naturally me being what I am, I still worked pretty hard and probably didn't go at the "steady" pace that Briza wanted. Still, I was feeling reasonably fresh after yesterday's rest
The set was 8 x 150's with a 50 jog recovery. Then a decent break. Happy with the 400's at slightly quicker than 1500 metre pace
Then after the break we had 2 x 300's, 2 x 200's and 2 x 150's each with a walk recovery and a break between each set
A couple of beers afterwards while Philip, Jo and I worked out how to structure our teams for the Region Final. Didn't finish until 9:30 pm
Rest day tomorrow ahead of the Shield Final
TOTAL DISTANCE = about 4 kilometres not including walk recovery, but including warm down
