Brian wasn't at training tonight so he set me a session

The main group had 8 x 600's with easy, medium, hard every 200. While I was preparing for my session I had to have a word to young Josh Persson who went out way too hard for his first two sets. He finished off really well and is looking in good shape

As for my session, it was five laps of surge the barrier, then a break and a set of 6 x 200's. The 5 lapper was pretty tough as I was probably doing the easy bits at about my 5 km/10 km pace. Had worked up a bloody good sweat by the end of it

The 200's I did at a good clip and felt in good shape as they didn't get much tougher as I completed each one. Sometimes these can seem pretty tough but evidently the taper is working beautifully

A few beers while I waited for Kylie before going home to do some more packing for tomorrow - the Good Friday drive up to Stawell

TOTAL DISTANCE = about 4 kilometres including warm up and down
